Our Story:
Milestones has been providing cutting-edge pediatric speech, physical and occupational therapy for over 23 years. Our anchor facility, located in north McAllen, Texas, features rehab and gyms of various sizes, as well as individual treatment spaces with sensory-rich environments that can be customized to a patient’s needs. We offer an eclectic assortment of equipment specifically designed with pediatric rehabilitation in mind. As the first facility in Texas to offer Euro-Peds and Therasuit equipment, we pride ourselves on staying abreast of the latest therapies and therapeutic tools. It’s our commitment to excellence that resulted in Milestones being bestowed Preferred Provider Status for Superior Health Plan —one of only four providers granted this exclusive status in the State of Texas.
Working as a Team Is Important to us
Our clinic is designed to be conducive to multidisciplinary intervention, strategizing, and team problem-solving. Our therapists work closely with a range of pediatric specialists and encourage parents/caregivers to attend every treatment session so that we can ensure maximal carry over to home to speed up functional outcomes.
In 2017, we expanded Milestones’ reach by offering in-home services to children who are unable to visit the clinic due to medical circumstances through our sister company, Milestones at Home.

Since our early days, Milestones has made an effort to ensure that our team is able to provide quality, innovative therapy programs to any child referred to us. We have an extensive in-house mentoring program as well as offer frequent opportunities for inter-disciplinary sharing through “Lunch and Learn”. Our therapy team is rich with experienced therapists with specialty trainings and certifications. We also serve as a clinical training site for interns of many rehab professions from universities across the nation.
